Step 6: Now, if you want to share files over Ad Hoc network then open “Network and Sharing Centre” and see under the “Sharing and Discovery”. Ensure that sharing and network discovery are ON. If it is not so, then click on the arrow beside each one so as to expand the same, then click on the option to turn it ON and then click on apply for the confirmation. If you want to share files by using the Public folder on your PC, even turn ON public folder sharing also.

Step 7: You will glad to know that you can even share your printer with your friends over the Ad Hoc network.

For Multiplayer Gaming:

Step 1: First of all, click on “Start”, then select “Network” and click on “Connect”.

Step 2: Now, if you want to join this connection later, you click on “Save this Network”.

Step 3: On the Select a location for the network page, click “Home” or “Work”. This will automatically turn on network discovery and file sharing.

Step 4: Now, click on “View computers and devices” on the network on the successfully set network settings page.
